For sports enthusiasts, the Esbjerg stadium is home to the football club Esbjerg fB and has been a major point of interest since 1924. The team has won the Danish Championship several times and continues to be a major stadium for professional sports. Hockey is also played in the stadium, making for quite the contract between football and hockey, for the sports fans interested in seeing the sport side of Denmark.
